What is Cubic ZirconiaCubic Zirconia is a synthetic stone formed by melting zirconium oxide and yttrium oxide at almost 5000 degrees fahrenheit to create flawless crystals of exceptional clarity and brilliance. The resulting stones are, like a diamond, isometric, extremely hard, optically flawless and can be faceted into many cuts. Cubic zirconia stones replicate the physical characteristics of a diamond more closely than any other gem material — so much that even trained jewelers cannot tell the difference between a cubic zirconia and a diamond with the naked eye. Cubic zirconia differs from diamonds in two significant aspects: it offers a much lower price and can be formed in any color, giving cubic zirconia exceptional value and versatility.CraftsmanshipCubic Zirconia is flawless in its production as a crystal stone. As such, these stones are easier to cut, thus creating more precise facets and cuts. At CRISLU, our cubic zirconia stones are cut into a total of 58 facets, giving CRISLU cubic zirconias the same reflective qualities as a diamond.Environmental AdvantageMining for natural diamonds and gems has caused environmental damage in the form of deforestation, soil erosion, water contamination, and disease. Diamonds have also been at the center of political conflict as we are now familiar with the industry of “conflict diamonds” and the civil wars created around them. Because cubic zirconia is created in a lab, diamond mining’s environmental damage and diamond’s role in political conflict are bypassed altogether. WARRANTY
The CRISLU Collection is a selection of exquisite jewelry set with the finest cubic zirconia, created by contemporary designers, exquisitely cut and assembled by CRISLU’s own craftsmen to bring alive the magical character of fine jewelry for today’s woman.
CRISLU warrants to the original consumer for the rest of their life from the date of purchase that the purchased article of jewelry is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal wear. This warranty is void if the article of jewelry has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship. Should warranty service by required, please send a copy of the sales receipt, a description of the defect and a $10 check or money order to CRISLU. Do not return defective jewelry to the retailer from whom the jewelry was purchased.
